That could be through bonding assistance - helping you understand what it takes to get that next level of bonding and putting together a successful package, or through line of credit assistance – working with you, your credit reports, financial statements and a Banker to get you the financing necessary to do those projects that require more cash.

Overall, the San Antonio Minority Business Enterprise Center offers the following services for minority owned construction companies:

• Professional Strategic Planning 
• 8(a), SCTRCA, HUB, CSTMBC and HUBZone certifications
• 8A joint venture assistance, keeping eye on balance sheets and cash flow during critical joint venture projects.
• Marketing presentations to Contracting Officers/Buyers
• Marketing materials – brochures, statements of qualification
• Powerpoint Business Plans
• Loan Packaging to present to banks/lending agencies
• Lines of credit packaging (as part of bonding requirements) to present to banks
• Bonding Packaging to present to Bonding Agents
• Estimating techniques
• Bid Packaging – helping you put together a good bid

There are fees for many of the above services, normally $10-$20 per hour, 10-40 hours total.
