San Antonio Minority Business Enterprise Center assists businesses in the following areas:

  1. Preparing business & marketing plans – Helping businesses to develop clarity about their strategic goals, obtaining loans, purchasing or expanding a business.
  2. Preparing Loan Packages – Assisting business owners to obtain financing for business expansion, purchase of real estate, equipment loans, working capital, etc...
  3. Minority Business Certification – Obtaining SCTRCA certification, HUB Certification, 8 (a) certification and registration in the MBDA Phoenix system.
  4. Marketing Assistance - 1 Marketing Plan and then 2 execution with websites, graphic design brochures, signage, press releases, event management and  business development presentations to decision makers
  5. Government Contracting Marketing- 1 Marketing Plan and then 2 execution with CCR, Fedbizopps, CMBL, COSA, Bexar, SAWS, CPS, ACCD, SAISD, UHS, UTSA, UTHSCSA, UT System or other agency website registration and 3  business development presentations to contracting managers
  6. 8A company strategic managment consulting - 1) CCR, Febizopps registration and then 2) introductions to contracting officers at Ft. Sam, Randolph, Lackland, VA, Army Corp or GSA working to get 8A set asides.
  7. Feasibility Studies – Assisting clients to determine the feasibility of business opportunities, business evalutaion, Real Estate valuation including pro-forma P&L and Cap Rate statements.
